Advertise on CodingSalt
CodingSalt publishes sourced AI and software engineering news every day, read by working developers deciding which models, tools and frameworks to adopt. If those are the people you want to reach, we should talk.
What we offer
- Sponsored articles. A technical piece about your product, written to the same standard as our editorial: sourced, concrete, useful even to a reader who never buys. Permanently hosted, clearly labeled as sponsored.
- Placements. A labeled slot on the front page and in articles, linking to your content.
Placements & specs
Two native display slots are live on the site right now — currently running our own house promos, so what you see on the page is exactly what your placement will look like. Native text cards match the editorial design, load with zero layout shift, and survive ad blockers.
| Placement | Where | Creative spec |
|---|---|---|
| Homepage Sidebar Card | Front page right rail, below the newsletter box — above the fold on desktop | Native card, 280px column. Headline ≤60 chars, body ≤140 chars, CTA ≤20 chars, one URL. No images needed. |
| Article Card | End of every article, before the newsletter box — seen by finishers, the highest-intent readers | Native card, full content width (720px). Headline ≤60 chars, body ≤140 chars, CTA ≤20 chars, one URL. No images needed. |
| Sponsored article | Published in the article feed, permanent URL, distributed like editorial | Technical piece written to editorial standard; labeled sponsored at the top |
| Newsletter sponsorship | Weekly digest (coming soon — join the waitlist via the form) | One labeled slot per issue: headline + 2 sentences + link |
Display sponsorships are booked per calendar month, one sponsor per slot — no rotation, no programmatic filler. Ask for current pricing via the form.
The rules we won't bend
Sponsorships are labeled — always. Paid links carry rel="sponsored", sponsored articles say so at the top, and editorial coverage is never for sale: sponsoring CodingSalt does not buy favorable reporting, and we do not sell undisclosed links. This protects your brand as much as ours — readers trust labeled sponsorships from publications that keep the line clean. The full policy is in our editorial policy.
